Why do you think that the king had special servants to taste food he had ?

according to me, the kings had some servants to taste the food as the some ministers, relatives, etc conspired against the kings to kill them as then become the king. so they used to mix some poison in the food. so in order the king doesn't have the poison and die, so they have servants to taste the food before the king has it.
