The Turks were able to defeat the Indians because of the following reasons:

️⃣Techniques used by the Turks included smaller and more mobile armies and groups and also new technology which caught the opposing army by surprise especially horses used by Turks was an important factor.

️⃣The importance attached to the King led to complete surrender or flight of the army in case the king died.

️⃣Lack of a standing and coordinated army by the Indians led to a weak defence.

️⃣Fighting many miles away from their homeland, Turks were aggressive in invading than Indians in defending as the Turks had everything to lose in case of a defeat.

️⃣The most important cause was the lack of a pan national ruler who could unite Indians against the invaders. The army was divided amongst itself as soldiers were recruited from the same tribe.
