Ivf means "IN -VITRO-FERTILITION ".
This is a procedure in which the ovum or the female egg is extracted from the womb and is fused with the sperm (the male egg) .
It is then placed back into the body and after the process it experiences normal growth just as any other baby may experience.
It usually takes place when there is a blockage between the source of the egg and the destination.
This reason is same for both the genders.
