why dobereiner New lands and Mandeleeff were not 100 person successful in the classification of elements by the Modern Periodic Table is relatiely better classification predict the reason ?

newlands law of octaves is applicable only upto calcium , the properties of new elements couldn't fit in it in some cases properties of the elements were not as same as defined by the Octave , it worked well only with the lighter elements.
in Mendeleev periodic table there was no fixed position position for hydrogen, there was no place for isotopes and there was no regular trend in atomic mass
all these limitations work solved in the modern periodic table made by Henry moseley

This is because Newland's and Mandeleeff's periodic principles were based the increasing order of the atomic weight's of an element, this created a lot of problems in the placements of every element and most of them have isotopes also that their concept of periodic table did not provide any free space for the placement of newly discovered elements.
