Hey!

When we throw ball vertically upwards in a moving train, it comes back in our hand, why?
Reason - This is because the ball has same horizontal velocity as that of train, so it will move alongwith the train and will fall back in the throwers hand.
Well, another reason is , because of gravity, gravitational force of earth attracts the ball towards itself and that's why it's simple to understand that the ball will fall back in thrower's hand.

Ma'am how can it come to thrower's hand again after it has been thrown vertically upwards?? If the person has thrown the ball upwards as soon as the ball leave his hand its horizontal velocity will automatically gets 0 not only force acting on it will be g only but the person will have his horizontal velocity so when the ball will come back again at that position the person would have gone forward by that tym...so it should fall on the floor....plz correct if I m wrong....
