Why does a balloon burst when too much of air is pumped into it ?

air particles are continuosly moving and will always exert pressure on the container it is kept.in a balloon,aldready it has the required air which particles are continuosly ,moving to find a space for escaping.if more air is pumped the energy of the previous surviving particles increase and they burst as a result.
