Why does a beam of light when it enters glass at an angle? Why does it not bend if it inters the glass at right angles?

Explanation:

When a beam of light enters glass at an angle, it bends because of the phenomenon “Refraction of light”. In refraction, when a ray of light enters from rarer to a denser medium, it bends towards the normal. Glass is a denser medium. So when the ray of light enters at any angle from the air (rarer medium), then it bends. But if it enters from a right angle, then there will be no refraction as the angle of incidence is zero and so as the angle of refraction becomes zero.
