Why does a boring day see to drag on, while if we are enjoying ourselves time will seem to fly .?

i think because on a boring day youre like so sad u wish the day would end faster whereas but it doesnt and when ure enjoying urselves u wish u had a lot of time to continue and you cant realise hours have gone by since you was havin fun as they say " time flies when ure having fun"
