It is because while falling catsrotate their tails to keep thier body flat to get more friction and also when it reaches ground its leg does not get the impact offalling it is because its legs act like a shock absorber and increses the time of impact and also distibutes the full impact evenly to the whole body and so they don't die or get hurt after falling from a great height!
