WHY DOES A CURRENT CARRYING WIRE PRODUCES ELECTRIC CURRENT ?[PLEASE GIVE A REASON OTHER THAN FLOW OF ELECTRONS]

The current carrying wire produces electric current because of the flow of electrons only there is not any other reason of it. And the explanation of this you will get in senior classes.
