curry stain turns red when it is washed with detergent because curry contain turmeric which is indicator and detergent is a base and this

turned when we watch to taste by indicator.

Hi friend, we know that turmeric is an indicator which changes its yellow colour into reddish brown when come in contact with solution of base.We know that soap solution is base and thus , when turmeric stain is washed with soap a base turns reddish brown.
