why does a fused bulb placed in a circuit not glow​

Inside a bulb filament is placed with a conductor. Fused build is nothing but the filament will be broken in it. Due to high temperature the filament melts and then there is a gap between. This what a Fused bulb is. Fused bulb has a open circuit system. That's why when fused bulb placed in a circuit not glow
