This is because there is little attraction between gas particles. Thus these particles move freely in all directions. Therefore gas completely fill the vessel in which it is kept.

THE FORCE OF ATTRACTION BETWEEN PARTICAL OF GAS IS NEGLIGIBLE. BECAUSE OF THIS PARTICALS OF GAS MOVES IN ALL DIRECTION.......BECAUSE OF THIS A GAS EXERTS PRESSURE ON THE WALL OF THE CONTAINER IN WHICH IT IS KEPT!
