The filament of electric bulb is made up of tungsten. It is a good conduct of electricity. When current passes into the bulb the heat will produce and bulb becomes warm.

the filament is made up of tungsten . tungsten is a good conductor of electricity. so when electricity passes through the filament the bulb heats up.
