A very simple, inexpensive and low noise differential thermometer is described. It consists of a specially constructed low noise bridge to be used in conjunction with widely available components (oscillator, lock-in amplifier, calorimeter). The ultimate sensitivity of lO−5 °C is better than most calorimetric requirements.
