Let the immersion rod dry completely. You can also keep it under the sunlight for an hour or so. Now, pull the immersion rod slightly so that the coil will expand a little bit. The scale on the joint of coil rings will start to remove. Don't apply a lot of pressure in expanding as it can damage your rod.
Now tap the rod on the ground very slowly. If you do it with a lot of force it could damage your product beyond repair. It will take only 5 minutes to get rid of most of the scale.
Your rod is now free from scale and it will heat the water quickly.
