Some animals cell have vacuoles almost animals cell do not have vacuole. It's main function is to store water, food and minerals. Plants have big vacuoles this is there because they needed extra storage of water and minerals. So, they reserved water, food and minerals for there use in future.
For, the animals cells, just like humans, we store our food as glycogen and it stored in our muscles and it is used when we do some work. So, the vacuoles is the storage of source of energy for plants such as, starch. And in animals glycogen is stored in muscles.
