The atomic radius decreases while moving along the period wise .
Thus is because in period wise the elements are increased by one electron and the effective tendency of attracting the outer valence electron by the nucleus is high.
So there is a attraction is increases along period wise. And this attraction does not allows to increases the size and keep attract towards the nucleus.
So there is a decreasein atomic size along period wise.
