why does bhopal receive twice the vertical rays of the sun (mid day sun) and vidisha not even once?
Answers
The Tropic of Cancer passes through the state of Madhya Pradesh. While Bhopal lies in the southern zone or the Tropical zone, Vidisha lies in the northern zone or the warm temperate zone. This is the reason that while we can see the mid-day sun exactly overhead twice a year at Bhopal, one is not able to do so even once at Vidisha.
Answer:
The midday sun is exactly overhead at least once a year between tropic of cancer and tropic of Capricorn.
