Why does blackboard dry up after wiping?

Explanation:when we wipe a black board with wet cloth , the blackboard absorbs all the water in one go.

1) The blackboard is not porous, hence it does not abosrb water

2) The blackboard being black in colour, is able to absorb more aomount of heat. Hence, the water gets heated up and evaporate faster.

3) The blackboard has a large surface area for evaporation, which speeds up the process of water eveaporating from it.
