Why does body segmentation in Annelida known to be metameric segmentation?

Annelids have this type of segmentation and it helps them in locomotion. Without metameric segmentation, annelids would struggle with movement across diverse environments.

according to his theory the body part like coelem, blood vessel,nephridia muscle etc. will be repeatedely formed. in between them septa are formed. thus metamerism is derived which is seen in annelids.
