why does delhi recieve more rainfall than jodhpur

bcoz jodhpur has latitude of 53'25 whereas delhi has 45'01 and due to progressive decrease in humidity of monsoon wind the amount of rainfall decrease from west to east in northern india. delhi lies to east of jodhpur. hence receives more rainfall.
