because distillation makes water vapour and leaves the impurities behind and in filtration some impurities come with water

Explanation:

During distillation, water is boiled to turn into vapour which are then condensed back into the vapour form. The impurities present in the water remain at the bottom of vessel and pure water is collected in a separate beaker or vessel.

Whereas filtration is a process which involves separation of solid particles from a liquid or gas with the help of a certain medium. For example, sand particles are separated from water using a filter paper and funnel.

In general, filtration is used to separate large particles but this process does not provide pure solutions as some impurities still remain in the solution.

On the other hand, distillation helps in the formation of pure water as it removes the impurities from the water or solution.
