distilled water does not contain any impurities due to which there is no free electrons in it that it does not contain electricity.

but we can make it a conductor by pouring some salt in it.

distilled water does not conduct electricity because there are no free ions to conduct electricity

we can make it a conductor by adding an acid to it like sulphuric or hydrochloric acid

we can also take normal water as it is inmpure and have other substances which have free ions to conduct electricity

hope it helps

thank you
