Why does distilled water not conduct electricity,whereas rain water so ?

Distilled water cannot conduct electricity because it does not contain ions while rain water conducts electricity as it contains ions due to presence of dissolved salts in it.

distilled water do not conduct electricity because it does not contain ions, while rain water conducts electricity because it contains ions due to the present salt in it.
