As we know that both moon and Earth attracts each other. But moon will never be able to attract Earth.
This is because both the bodies are attracting each other in a circular path but Earth has more mass than Moon. If you are aware of Centrifugal force then it can be defined as when an "object" moves through a "circular path" then its acceleration is perpendicular to velocity and pointing toward "center".
Here, Center is Earth and moving object is moon. [ ignore that earth is also moving, for sometime ]
Therefore, moon keeps on rotating around earth without attracting Earth towards its.
