We know very well that our earth takes 365 days to complete one revolution of earth but it is not exact 365 days, It takes 364 days and 6 hours to complete one revolution , So after time interval of four years a leap year occurs , in which 1 day is recovered (6×4=24hrs. = 1 day) and that day is added in February to make it of 29 days and that year is of 366 days.
And rest of the years (non-leap years ) have only 28 days in February.
And rest of the years (non-leap years ) have only 28 days in February.

Feb does not have 28 days uniformly. When it is a leap year i.e when the year has got 366 days feb will have 28 days . A leap year = 6x4 = 24 hour = 1 dayTo accept it we need to decrease one day or to prevent february 30 days we add it on the month of August that comes after July . According to the concept of January having 31 days and then february 30 , due to leap year it is made to have 28 days .
