Acid rain contains high levels of acids like sulfuric and nitric acid. It has a huge impact on our ecosystem, however, the greatest impact is on aquatic ecosytems.

It makes the water acidic and also makes the water absorb aluminium that comes from soils along with the acid rain. This makes the water toxic and makes the survival of the aquatic animals difficult.
