Why does flow of acid rain water into a river makes the survival of aquatic life in the river difficulty?

Acid Rain contains harmful substances mixed in it such as Carbon Monoxide,Sulphur oxide,Sulphur Dioxide etc.When it pours down,flowing into water bodies,it makes the water acidic which is harmful for survival of aquatic life,and hence they may end up to die.

When these chemicals are introduced into the water they pollute the water .
Aquatic life such fish may not be able to breath in a river full of acid water
Acidic water itself cuts the scales of fish and then killing the fish
When fish drinks this water ,the intestines cuts leading to death
