Hi friend,

Food cooks faster on pressure cooker because in a pressure cooker the water vapour formed by the liquid substance of the food is not allowed to escape till it's full. So, as it contains the hot water vapour the temperature inside the pressure cooker is even more higher. As the temperature is more higher, The food cooks fast.
