herbivores have a longer intestine then carnivores because they eat leaves which contain cellulose which is difficult to digest where as carnivores eat flesh which can be easily digested

Herbivores eating grass need a longer small intestine to allow the cellulose to be digested. Whereas Meat is easier to digest, hence carnivores like tiger have shorter small intestine.
