Holmes says " no more adventurous tonight " because the night had been quite eventful and Sir Henry was still shaking from the experience.

Arthur Conan Doyle’s one of the greatest creations Sherlock Holmes speaks this line in The Hound of Baskerville.

Holmes says so since they had enough of adventures on that night and that there was no need of any more adventure. The night had also been an exciting, eventful and effective one indeed.

Moreover, Sir Henry was still shaking from the experience. Thus, Holmes decides not to go for any more adventure and settles down.
