why does India is called as India is my mother

Calling India as mother has both historical and self-belief reasons. In earlier times, people used to worship everything which gave them something important. So, people started treating land as goddess. This land was obviously our country India.

Also mother provides her children with all essential things. And this role is played by mother India here.

because india is a land of beauty. as you know that how many such heads were sacrificed at the british period just because of their affection from this land. This land is not just a Land it gives us a lot as a mother
