why does it take less time to prepare curd in summer as compared to preparing it in winters?

Curd is formed from milk due to the formation and multiplication of a bacteria known as 'lactobacillus' . We know , bacteria can't multiply in cold temperatures or the temporarily stops multiplying and hence it take long time to form curd in winter than in summer.
