It takes much time to kill because it has grown slowly consuming the earth, rising out of it, feeding upon its crust and absorbing years of sunlight, air and water. 2. "It takes much time to kill a tree. Not a simple job of the knife.

as the bark of tree contains a cork which id dead and there is no intercellular space between them..
