lord ullin was against the marriage of his daughter with her lover the chieftain so she defied him and elopes with her lover to marry him

lord ullin's daughter loves a scotish chieftain and she wants to merry him. but her father thinks that the chieftain to be much below the status to the royal family. he is opposed to his daughter's love for such man. but the girl is madely in love, that is why she defies her father and eloped with her lover
