Why does mammals and birds need to separate oxygenated and deoxygenated blood?

It is necessary in mammals and birds to separate oxygenated and de-oxygenated blood because this makes their circulatory system is more efficient and helps in maintaining constant body temperature.

Mammals and birds need to seperate oxygenated and deoxygenated blood
because of following reason :
Mammals and birds are warm blooded,
and to keep there body warm there is need of high amount of energy, if oxygenated and deoxygenated blood get mixed then no high amount of energy is created to keep there body warm ...
We know Oxygenated blood produces large amount of energy than deoxygenated blood ....
