Reasons for Mr Frank asking taplow to cut

- Taplov had missed schooling during the week and so Mr Crocker-Harris had given Taplov extra work to compensate.

- When talking with Mr Frank another teacher, Taplov says he misses his golf game because of the extra work.

- So Mr Frank asks him why doesn't he cut the extra work and play golf.

   But Taplov is shocked at the question and answers he would never do such a thing with Mr Crocker as he is strict and would not spare him.
