Mrs Fitzgerald is Mrs Pearson's good friend who was troubled seeing the way Mrs Pearson was treated by her family. She expresses her concern and offers to put her (mrs P's) family in place. She exchanges bodies with her to teach the family a lesson. First she deals with Dorris by refusing her tea and refusing to iron her dress. She also insults her boyfriend Charlie Spencer by calling him half witted. To Cyril she refuses to clean his room and taunts him on his work and gambling habits and who he was always tired after his eight hour day. Mr. Pearson faced the worst criticism when she tells him how his friends at club always laugh behind his back. Throughout her time as Mrs P. she is rude, aggressive and severe. She (as mrs Pearson) makes them realise of her worth and that she is not their slave. Thus through her unmatched incisiveness she manages to putthe entire family in its place thus helping out Mrs P.

Hope this helps.. Thumbs up plzz :D
