Why does needle sink in water while as iron ship floats on it? breifly give answer

Needle :--
♢it is made of iron.
♢it has density more than the density of water
So needle sinks in water.
Ironship:-
♢it is also made up of iron but the surface area is more.
♢it displaces the water which is equal to the weight of iron ship.
So ironship floats on water.
