why does not gold liberate hydrogen on reacting with dilute sulphuric acid?​

Gold or Auram is placed below hydrogen in the reactivity series as we know. Therefore, it cannot lose electrons to hydrogen ions of the acid called dilute sulphuric acid. Hydrogen gas is not evolved when gold or Auram reacts with dilute sulphuric acid.
