Our fingers shrink when we wash clothes as we use soap or other lathering substances to clean the clothes and these materials create an area of high solute concentration outside our skin and inside our skin we have water ,minerals , and other substances but our body's solute concentration is less compared to the outside environment ,hence the water from your skin moves outside hence causing a stress on all the cells in your hand and the cytoplasm and cellmembrane is wrinkled and looks like it's crushed and that's why u get wrinkles on your skin when you wash clothes.
