Answer:

Our mouth often watery on seeing delicious food due to the secretion of Saliva. Saliva present in mouth helps in the conversion of starch in to maltose. Saliva starts digestion of food in mouth, by making food softer and breaking it down while chewing.

Our mouth waters when we see delicious food due to salivary glands. Our brain instructs the salivary glands that food is coming and then our tongue starts secreting saliva containing an enzyme named ptyalin.
