When we put some acetone or petrol or perfume on our palm, it evaporates. During evaporation, particles of the liquid absorb energy from the surrounding or the surface of the palm, making the surroundings cool. Hence, our palm feels cold when we put some acetoneor petrol or perfume on it.

Our palm feels cold because of latent heat of vapourisation as these materials( mentioned above ) take away heat from our body to convert into vapours which gives cooling effe2 and our palm feel cold when we add petrol or perfume or acetone on it.
