Persome felt that people pretended to be sick to take undue advantage of the Bishop. She was of very protective nature and pained to see that the entire humanity is turning upon them for charity and kindness.

Persome was a really caring sister.. She thought that people pretend to be sick and in need because of her brother's careless attitude.. She thinks that her brother is very careless when giving away stuff.. If this goes on further, they would soon be out of places to even live.. She feared people fooling the Bishop and taking advantage of his helpfulness..
