because it is highly reactive in nature and vigorously reacts when comes Inn the contact of air to prevent this we kept it in kerosene

phosphor is stored in kerosene so as to prevent it from acquiring phosphorescence. If phosphor reacts with oxygen it can cause a fire to start which would burn the whole room at once
