why does plasma of blood straw coloured??

Plasma is the straw-colored liquid portion of blood that contains water, proteins, salts, nutrients, hormones, and metabolic wastes. It does not have any pigment cells to give it a colour. The RBCs of blood contain hemoglobin which is responsible for giving red color to blood.
