12, October, 1795Dear DiaryThe British are becoming a real nuisance. They have no right to take away my land. It belongs to my ancestors and me. They are intruders who came to India as traders and are now trying to become the rulers of the country. I must do something to stop them from gaining more power.The French are better than them. They are friendly with me. In fact we have helped each other many times. I am going to contact my French friends and put an end to the British domination in the South.Tipu Sultan
