helllloo.... ☺

When a light ray travels from one medium to another, density of the medium changes...
so a  change in speed of the light ray  takes place causes refraction

thank you ☺

sunilpalIwal851: When light travels from rarer to denser medium why does it only bends towards not away from the real extended light ray

heya!!

here is your answer ⤵️⤵️

when the light rays moves from one medium to another medium the speed of light and density of light changes and refraction occurs.

It is a natural phenomenon.

The phenomenon of changing light from one medium to another is called refraction

hope my answer helps you ✌

sunilpalIwal851: Ya it is natural phenomenon but when light travels from rarer to denser then it always bent towards. Why so
sunilpalIwal851: Hey after many difficulties I have got the ans
sunilpalIwal851: As the velocity of light decrease S while moving from rarer to denser the water molecules or the molecules /atom of the denser medium apply force on the beam of light due to which the light bends towards
