Why does resistance is decreased in parallel combination of resistance

Because when resistance is in parallel we find that the resistor divides the resistance into equal amount and when we talk about resistance in series the resistor not divide the resistance even the resistor passes the resistance into a continue flow. And that time resistance is not decreased. So that's why the resistance is decreased in parallel combination of resistance
